Noa Bloch, a high-school student from Beth Rivkah Ladies College, a Chabad-Lubavitch educational institution in Australia, was among the 47 teenagers taking part in the International Bible Quiz in Jerusalem this week.
Sapir Malka, a resident of the Israeli town of Kochav Yaakov and a student of Jerusalem's Mercaz Harav Yeshiva, earned top honors in the contest. Bloch came to the event after winning the Victorian state finals of the 2008 Youth Bible Quiz back in August.
Her older sister Shira won the international competition in 1998, while her sisters Merav and Michal were runners up in 1999 and 2005, respectively. ...
