With the help of recently-found historical documents, Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Mendel Teichman, chief rabbi of Uzhgorod, Ukraine, has identified a mass grave for about 200 Jews killed by the Nazis during World War II.

According to a JTA report, Teichman came across an unmarked area in the local Jewish cemetery with no fence and no headstones.

He then found documents stating that the parcel of land was the final resting place for the Nazis’ victims.

Now, the Rabbinical Centre of Europe is seeking out relatives of the victims in order to build a monument at the site. …
