Members of the Jewish community in Lake Worth, Fla., celebrated the completion of Chabad-Lubavitch of Greenacres & Atlantis’ first Torah scroll.

Before embarking on a round of singing and dancing, attendees took turns writing the last letters of the holy scroll with the help of ritual scribe Rabbi Moshe Klein.

“G‑d said that [the Torah] is the most precious thing that he has, and he wants to give it to us,” Rabbi Mendy Rosenfeld, co-director of the Chabad House, told the Palm Beach Post. “So it’s like a marriage contract.” …
