A delegation from the Ohr Avner Chabad Foundation inspected the soon-to-be-completed new home of a Jewish day school in the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.
Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Meir Bruk, the city’s chief rabbi, led the delegation through the construction site, which sits on 15,000 square meters of land allotted free-of-charge by President Ilham Aliyev.
In its final stage of construction, the complex will house educational and administrative buildings, as well as dormitories and a new business facility.
Said Bruk: “The state administration considers the implementation of this project to be of great importance.” …
