Rabbi Nachman and Freida Holtzberg, parents of Rabbi Gavriel Holtzberg – who was murdered along with his wife Rivka and four other Jews at their Chabad House in Mumbai – helped prepare meals for those left homeless in the wake of wildfires that swept across the Australian countryside.

The couple lent a hand last week at Our Big Kitchen, the soup kitchen operated by Sydney’s Yeshiva Centre and Chabad-Lubavitch of New South Wales.

Earlier, they attended a dinner where they thanked the local community for its assistance in rebuilding Chabad of Mumbai and ensuring a secure financial future for their orphaned grandson, Moshe Holtzberg. …
