Nine months after discovering that its Torah scroll had been stolen, S. Louis, Mo.’s Congregation Bais Menachem will welcome a new holy scroll in a noontime ceremony this Sunday.

According to the S. Louis Jewish Light, two other synagogues – Agudas Israel and Young Israel – will join in the celebration.

“The entire Jewish community was touched by the event in May,” Rabbi Yosef Landa, director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Greater S. Louis, told the newspaper. “Everybody anguished and came together. Now, we have an opportunity to rejoice and proclaim a message of unity.” …
