Following an invitation by President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, Rabbi Shlomo Bentolila visited Equatorial Guinea to discuss Jewish communal affairs with the African nation’s top leader.
Bentolila, the Congo-based director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Central Africa, also took the opportunity to visit Jewish doctors and professors working in the capital city of Malabo’s central hospital.
Jewish children living in the small republic gathered for the occasion, during which they each received a mezuzah to give to their parents to post on their doorways. …
