Rabbi Shimon Freundlich, co-director of Chabad-Lubavitch of Beijing, helped lead a memorial service for the 11 Israeli athletes killed 36 years ago by terrorists in Munich.

Arranged by the Israeli Embassy in China and its country’s Olympic delegation, the service was not a recognized function of this year’s Summer Olympics.
