Thousands of people were expected at Melbourne, Australia’s Town Hall for a community tribute in honor of deceased Rabbi Yitzchok Dovid Groner, a longtime Chabad-Lubavitch emissary and former head of the city’s Yeshiva Centre.

Organizers of the tribute told The Australian Jewish News that more than 2,000 people would come to the ceremony, which would be addressed by former community leader Isi Leibler.
