The Organization of Rabbis of Australasia conferred the title of “patron” of the organization to Rabbi Pinchus Feldman, dean and spiritual leader of the Yeshiva Centre in Bondi, Australia, and head Chabad-Lubavitch emissary to the island continent.
Meeting at the Yeshiva Centre for their biannual conference, the more than 70 members of the rabbinical group approved a resolution recognizing Feldman for 40 years of devotion to Australia’s Jewish community.
In 1995, Feldman was awarded New South Wale’s Premier’s Award for community service in 1995; he was presented with The Order of Australia in 2002. …
