The Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, N.J., announced the creation of a new intensive Jewish leadership course as part of its Tiferes Bachurim yeshiva, which specializes in teaching Jewish men who were not necessarily raised in religious homes.

The new program – available to those with a minimum of two years of prior study of the Talmud – will give its students the “necessary skills and knowledge to become religious educators and community leaders.”

Those graduating the course will receive rabbinic ordination. Rabbi Moshe Herson, dean of the Chabad-Lubavitch rabbinical college, said that the administration “looks forward to the expansion of our goal to shape the leaders of tomorrow.” …
