Prosecutors in Bryansk, Russia, a large industrial center bordering Belarus and Ukraine, dropped hate crimes charges against neo-Nazi youths accused of vandalizing the city’s Ohr Avner Chabad Day School, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported on its Web site.

Police arrested one college student and three teenagers in December after five attacks on the school beginning in October.

The youths, who are accused of shattering all but one of the school’s windows, will face lesser charges of vandalism and hooliganism. …
