Some 350 people attended the gala party marking the 20th anniversary of Chabad-Lubavitch of Nebraska.

Directed by Rabbi Mendel and Shani Katzman, Chabad-Lubavitch of Nebraska operates "Mishpacha University," a series of classes and experiences for the whole family, women's programming and a Kabbalah circle, as well as Shabbat and holiday services, and a summer and winter Gan Israel camp.

"We hope more people will take advantage of our services and the myriad educational opportunities we provide," said Shani Katzman. "We pray that we will continue to inspire and teach, that people will take to heart the message that one mitzvah makes a world of difference."

The Omaha bash, which was held at the city's new KANEKO creativity center, brought in an estimated $100,000, event chairwoman Tippi Denenberg told the Omaha World-Herald. ...
