Rabbi Dr. Tzvi Hersh Weinreb, executive vice president of the Orthodox Union, called attention to the Passover teachings of the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, of righteous memory, writing that they answer "the provocative question, 'Should Jews be insular?'"

"I was particularly impressed by the material on personal growth," writes Weinreb, "and the discussions of a large number of psychological and educational problems that we all face.

"For example, the Rebbe discusses the inner tensions that exist within us all: the darker side of the wise son; estranged brothers; shedding our preconceptions; [and] dealing with the negative influences of our environment."

The Rebbe’s teachings are published verbatim in scores of volumes and translated in more than a dozen languages. Weinreb made his comments in regard to the new Slager edition of the Passover Haggadah published by Kol Menachem. …
