The children of Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries in Israel are gearing up for the upcoming holiday of Purim – it falls out on March 21 this year – by participating in a three-year-old project that will have them send the traditional gift baskets known as mishloach manot to their peers around the world.
Each child will send one basket to another child chosen randomly. The package will contain the sender’s phone number and a riddle, which the recipient is supposed to solve before calling Israel and striking up a new-found friendship. …
