Avi Paz, president of the Israel Diamond Exchange, thanked the ZAKA emergency response organization and the Chabad House serving the exchange for their help in securing the recovery of five diamond dealers who perished last month in a plane crash in Namibia.
The Chabad House, directed by Rabbi Chagai Halevi, had arranged for volunteers in South Africa to feed and assist the ZAKA team that had been dispatched in the wake of the disaster. “The speed of your actions,” said Paz, “eased ... the pain of the families of those who perished.” ...
