(FJC.ru) Moscow's Rambam Medical Center moved into bigger facilities at the recently-opened Shaarei Tsedek Charity Center, operated by Chabad-Lubavitch of Moscow in the city's Marina Roscha neighborhood.
The center's patients – impoverished and elderly members of the city's Jewish community – receive top-notch medical assistance at no cost. Officials expect the move to facilitate opening up the center's services to greater swaths of the Jewish population.
Taking the needs of its clients into account, the center's design features soft leather sofas, a coat-check area and a suite of medial technologies found in most Western clinics. Its staff boasts not only a general practitioner, but a gynecologist, endocrinologist, ophthalmologist, dermatologist, neurologist and cardiologist as well. Patients can also receive ultrasound diagnostic services and therapeutic massages at the center.
