Thousands of informational kits explaining the Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shevat, the "New Year" for trees that falls out this year on Tuesday, were distributed by Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries in Israel.
Produced in cooperation with the Lubavitch Youth Organization in Israel, the kits contained dried fruits and an explanatory pamphlet written by Rabbi Menachem Brod.
