KabbalaToons, a new cartoon series that promises "cosmic consciousness in one minute," premiered this week on Chabad.org. The first episode of the cartoon, hosted by character Rabbi Infinity, "your favorite kabbalist," describes, in the time of a standard television commercial, how each person is looking to fill a hole inside of them, whether it be by eating candies or seeking pleasures, success and all the melodramas of life. The animated rabbi with a colorful kippa and sunglasses explains that the only way to fill the G‑d-sized hole is to start acting G‑dly.
Described by its creator, Rabbi Tzvi Freeman, as providing "mystic insights and spiritual guidance for enlightened life in the fast lane," the cartoon is set to use everyday objects to "reveal to us the secret wisdom of the universe and the pathways to sublime meaningful life."
Freeman's messages are universal but uniquely Jewish, relating to the soul and body at once.
