Following a recent excursion to the Tower of London, third-year pupils from the Chabad-Lubavitch Junior Boys’ School earned the notice of the royal Beefeaters, who lauded the boys for their outstanding behavior.
The class was visiting the landmark as part of its Geography and History curriculum, and was apparently so-well-behaved, that the Yeoman Warders voted the boys the best-behaved visitors for the month of March. The royal guards bestowed on the class Her Majesty’s Tower of London Certificate of Merit.
“I am really proud of them receiving this certificate,” stated the boys’ teacher, Rivka Poolat, who accompanied them through the Tower and its Crown Jewels exhibit. “The boys showed a lot of interest in the exhibitions and they gained a deeper appreciation for the country’s history.”
