I'm confused. It says that Levi's 3 children are Gershon, K'hos and M'rori.
The very next posuk says Levi's children are Chevron, Machli, Mushi, Korchi.
Please 'splain this to me.

in response to Yechiell:

The next verse is describing the children of Gershon, Kehas, and Merari. Each grandchild of Levi created their own clan. As Exodus 6 says: "The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their families. The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi." Reply

70 Souls Could it have been that "70" was a rounded number?

Was "400" [Gn 15:13] a rounded number for "430" [Ex 12:40], or was it just that there was a window of 30 years between when they entered Egypt and when the Egyptians began to enslave and afflict them [Ex 1:6-8]? Reply

It was already explained that 70 was an exact number. Reply
