May the people of Israel never turn a blind eye to the ones who experience the grief of Yaakov. The grief of a stolen child is indescribable and this is why Yaakov was inconsolable. We are the miracle someone is waiting for. We are the mitzvot, the Divine Providence. Who do we think Hashem is counting on? He gives us EVERYTHING! Are we delivering? Should there be hungry Jews? Should there be injustice? Should there be a Jewish parent separated from their child? The parshah from last week was very clear!!! There has been a forgetting. Some were once slaves and now, when everyone helps one another moshiach will be here! May we never forget we are not free until we are all free, may that day come speedily and soon. Reply

I woke this morning to your moving success story& had to Thank You for sharing. I'm 75& before 6yrs ago I'd been married to my soul mate which over time changed from bliss to dangerously toxic. For 17yrs trapped without family, money or transportation,I eventually found the window, left everything behind & escaped out of state in safety. With these changes looking back,it was then I realized how much Jewish influence&exposure I'd over the years. One winter I woke up compelled to buy my 1st Menorah& I remember a man on the bus commenting on what was in my bag and that it was a nice one as it was his first time lighting that year as well. From this moment on everything seemed right only getting better finding those things I was missing;living expenses from state assistance, a bus that stops in front of my door & my MJL&Chabad family hugs that heal my scarred past& bring me comfort& blessing in what lies ahead each day. Thank you for your inspiring story Richard. Joan Reply
