WOW. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL REGAL WOMAN!!! Reply

Ms Tessa coltman Wadebridge Rock, U.K. August 7, 2024

Beautiful soul Ester has, lifted my spirits listening to her from my humble home in the U.K. I'm 81 years old and many lessons I wish I had learned. I am a Buddhist but loved to listen to her life experiences. Blessings and thank you again. Tessa. Reply

Chani July 29, 2024

Wow! Chana, you have such courage doing these interviews and asking all those personal and hard questions in the most respectful manner possible.
And Esther, your words really inspired me. It’s not just your singing that inspires, but your words too. Especially since we can see that you’re talking from the heart. Wishing you much hatzlacha, gezunt and parnasa beharchova. Reply

Rut M. Brea DeLa Vega Mesa, AZ July 27, 2024

Esther Freeman story is amazing!! How I wish that I grew up in a Chabad Hasidic home. I'm a artist, and I often speak to HaShem about the gifts He has given me, and usually asked Him what is the purpose in my life. I never wanted to participate in this world of art, I have always given my paintings away and never asked for payment. Today, by listening to Esther Freeman and how she realized that the talents HaShem give us in life are for a purpose. Reply

Sarah Tallahassee, Florida July 25, 2024

Thank you for the wonderful interview. Esther Freeman's voice is amazing! Reply

Esther Freeman BROOKLYN July 29, 2024
in response to Sarah:

Thank you so much for watching and BH for the voice Hashem gave me. Reply

Samantha Leon July 25, 2024

Esther you do have a lovely voice, but I have one question. Even if you label your music as for Jewish women only, if you post it to the Internet, who's to stop men and gentiles from listening anyway? Reply

Esther Freeman BROOKLYN July 29, 2024
in response to Samantha Leon:

That is a very good question. This is something I have spoken to Rabbonim at length about. The best answer for you would be to speak to your local Orthodox Rabbi. There are different Halachik parameters for everyone so I cannot make a blanket statement. Thank you for watching. Reply

Tamar Perl San Francisco July 25, 2024

I love the "anthem" song message - by conquering our world we conquer the world around us, just by being our healthy and true self, we can inspire without even trying, but just by being. This was personally eye opening of how to be a good mother, sister, friend, wife, etc. Reply

Esther Freeman BROOKLYN July 29, 2024
in response to Tamar Perl:

Dear Tamar,
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on how you were inspired by the interview. I am so grateful you were able to glean helpful tips on how to be the best person you were created to be.
You're a Superhero! Reply

Uri Hirsch Jerusalem July 25, 2024

Esther Freeman stated that the Tora states "Kol Isha Erva..." That is not true. Nowhere in the Tora does it say that! There is an allusion in Shir Hashirim though but it is not explicit and the Rabbis infer from that that we should not listen to a woman's voice. I think that your speakers should be more accurate. Reply

Jared postville July 25, 2024
in response to Uri Hirsch:

Torah is a broad term that includes the oral Torah, i.e., the talmud. Reply

Anonymous July 25, 2024
in response to Uri Hirsch:

It seems as if you are differentiating between the Talmud as not being Torah . But she clearly says to ask a Local Orthodox Rabbi for more info and that she is not a leading authority on the matter. Reply

Uri Hirsch Jerusalem July 25, 2024
in response to Jared:

Jared, First of all, the Talmud is not considered part of the Tora--overall or not. It is the Oral Law. Not saying that it should not be adhered to but statements should be accurate. Reply

Jared postville July 26, 2024
in response to Uri Hirsch:

Hi Uri,
Thank you for your comments, it is so nice to engage in a discussion with someone from Jerusalem about Torah.
The Sages call the 24 books of the Tanach, the Written Torah or Torah Shebichsav,
And the Talmud as part if The Oral Torah, or Torah Shebaal Peh.
When someone says, "I am learning Torah", that is generally understood to mean studying either the written or oral Torah.
Respectfully,
Your friend Jared Reply

Uri Hirsch Jerusalem July 27, 2024
in response to Anonymous:

Dear Anonymous.
I never said that the Talmud was not part of the (Oral) law. That is based on someone putting words in my mouth. The only possible place that there is an allusion to a woman's voice is in Shir Hashirim, ironically. There it does not state that one should not listen to a woman's voice. That book is part of the Tanach but not the 5 books of the Tora. When Esther stated Tora she implied Tora only. Public speakers need to be explicit in what they say otherwise their words can be misunderstood. Be that as it may, there is no explicit
violation if one hears a woman's singing voice. Reply

Mark Rome July 25, 2024

Hi Ester,
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You have shared with us your wisdom and positivity with very simple and sincere words. I pray that Hashem protect you and your family and always give you happiness and strength to continue doing what you like to do. Maybe you could make an arrangement with the studio to let a man sing the songs you wrote .
Of course you will always have the author rights but in this way you can share your values with everybody. Reply

Esther Freeman BROOKLYN July 29, 2024
in response to Mark :

Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for watching and for the wonderful blessings. I have definitely thought about the idea of a man singing my songs and perhaps that may happen.
G-d bless you. Reply
