Perla and Chana this was such a beautiful interview, it touched me deeply. I think your name means a perl and that’s what you truly are, a Perl in G-d’s hand, and I love your daughter’s name Moussia, it sounds sweet and elegant. With love, Christina Reply

Thank you Christina. I think Perla touched all of us deeply by sharing her story so beautifully! Reply

Robert Sockloskie Sherman Oaks, CA March 5, 2024

I feel sympathy for Perla Zaltzman for all the suffering and struggles that she endured, but much more importantly, I feel great admiration for her for how she has coped with and grown from her ordeal and her willingness to share her experiences with us.

It may be worth it for us to note that although expressing some sympathy is usually good, it can also sometimes act as a roadblock for an unfortunate soul to rise above their suffering from their ordeal and thus cope more effectively by inducing them to experience and dwell upon some form of self-pity. Feeling and being sure to also convey sincere, heartfelt admiration, on the other hand, often has the opposite effect in that it tends to elevate the sufferer up and motivate them to grow and cope more effectively.

Again, I deeply regret the suffering and struggles that Perla had to endure, but I truly have great admiration for her!  Reply

That's a great point, Robert. yes, there is so much to admire in Perla in how she has coped and grown from this--and how she generously allows us to hear her story and grow in the process as well! Reply

The pain is so raw!

I'm so sorry for the tragic loss!

Perla is so realistic, honest and down to earth about her loss and her recovery.

May her wish to be reunited with her daughter through the coming of Moshiach be immediately fulfilled bezH! Reply

in response to Tovia Simon:

Amein! I too was impressed by Perla's realness. Reply
