The Jewish People successfully defend themselves against their mortal enemies. On the morrow of fierce fighting and the miraculous deliverance, the Jews celebrated. Yet in Shushan, the battles lasted longer. Consequently, their delayed deliverance meant a delayed celebration. Ultimately, it’s all comprised of the same joy. We also discover how walls will heretofore divide festivities.
