I cried listening to your poem. I haven't had a mother since I was 14yrs old. Really, it was at 12yrs old. She became ill and all was never the same. I'm going through a moment in my life at 57yrs old of choosing light or darkness. I've prayed to Hashem, but still not moving one way or another. I would like to think my mother would say these words to me. Your poem is compassion and tough love mixed beautifully together and so needed at this time in my life. Reply
