In 2011, my mother was very sick on hospice at home in a hospital bed, a vegetable without life support.. I traveled to Boston to be with her, my father and brother. We had the first seder in the kitchen so she could be close by and listen. We gave her a few droplets of wine. We opened the door for Eliyahu. The next morning she passed, we think Eliyahu, came and took her soul out of the house. We had to have the second seder without her. It was the hardest thing ever. Tonight, I will have the seder alone in Los Angeles, while my elderly father is with my Brother in Boston. I now remember how hard that was, and I will for sure make do my best to make it thru tonight, especially knowing that the Rebbe did it year after year. Thank you for your Inspiration. Chag Sameach! Dear Honoured Rabbi,
I have watched your lecture over and over and have wept tears of every kind, from extreme feelings of belonging and hope, through to my saddest , most deep and painful sorrows, but the tears were healing and I thank you with all of my heart, I don't even have the words to tell you how much your lecture moved and inspired me. I too am alone...but no longer feel lonely. I am sending this to someone that I know will appreciate your words.
May G-d Bless you and all your family, richly, grant you long, long life and supply you with all your needs,in abundance.
Sincere wishes for Pesach Reply

Wow. Thank you is too simplistic. I needed your message desperately. It was a bright light in all this darkness. It pushed me onto the road I need to take. I will never forget your words said with passion and it hit all the right chords. I will be alone making my Seder this year. But I won't really be alone. Your words have touched me deeply. You made me laugh, cry and cheer. You threw me a kiss at the end but I threw a kiss back to you. You didn't see it but you felt it. I know that. Reply

A very inspiring and much needed message for the times we are living in. I especially love your words to not let darkness define you, but let light define darkness as we serve in the parameters of safety and inner reflection of our true purpose. May HaShems' blessings continually flow in your life!

Thank you, Reply

As always so brilliant and so passionate, Thank Rabbi Jacobson. I am one of those who will be alone this Pesach and you and other Chabad rabbis' videos and articles are tremendously helpful. Chag Pesach Sameach and may Hashem heal and protect us all. My dear Chabad Rabbi sadly just lost his aunt to this awful scourge of a virus. May her memory be for a blessing. Reply

May Rabbi YY and all the tech people and others who contributed to this special presentation be blessed. It was truly uplifting, and for me personally, the thought of The Rebbe choosing to conduct seders on his own will always enliven my own solitary seders. Always! Thank you once again and Chag Pesach Sameach! Reply
