Born In Bagdad Iraq, to a family of eight children, Nadia (84) immigrated to Israel in the 1950s with her family, where she received her high school education in a kibbutz in Northern Israel and served in the IDF in the "Nachal" division, after which she worked as a nurse in a psychiatric hospital. She married Eli Cohen, who was recruited to the Mossad shortly after. Nadia & Eli had three children Sophie, Irit & Shai. At the time of Eli's Execution in Damascus, Sophie was four, Irit two and Sai was only three months old. Nadia never remarried, and she is heading the campaign to return Eli from Syria for burial in Israel, as well as commemorating his heritage.
