Dr. Michael Lukin is a lecturer on Yiddish music and folklore at Bar-Ilan University, he completed his dissertation “The Yiddish Folk Song: Poetics and Music” at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under the supervision of Edwin Seroussi and Galit Hasan-Rokem. He holds a BA in classical flute from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he studied with Moshe-Aron Epstein.
