Professor Sir Peter Hirsch is a German Jewish Refugee and world renowned physicist at the University of Oxford. Born in Berlin in 1925, he had his Bar Mitzvah under the Nazis in Berlin 1939 before escaping Nazi Germany on the Kindertransport.
