Thank you, Rabbi, for the insights you offered. The idea of idol worship being rejected as such but using it as a cover for the desire to engage in promiscuous behavior, etc was a new idea that I had not heard. "Call it like it is" seems to fit many circumstances!
When I was young, we use to say that someone was cuckoo. You have given me new insight into why we said that.
This is a very inspiring Haftorah, especially because of the insights that you have shared. May we all grow in our trust of Hashem! Reply
