Mrs. Shaferstein delivers a compelling message about our Mother Rachel, a message of hope and strength in our darkest hour. There is however the question that in Judaism, there is no intermediary between G...d and Man. I want to speculate, if the Jewish people had prayed directly to Hashem and truly repented (teshuvah), instead of Rachel's plight on their behalf, would He have overturned His terrible verdict? Reply
