The only good thing about my soul is that black goes with everything! Are you sure that there is not a grade below "copper?" However, Rabbi Gordon used to say that it is the person who hits rock bottom who has the greatest potential for reaching the highest levels of spiritual growth. I keep seeing this type of theme being repeated over and over by various rabbis. Similarly, a wise person once said that it does not matter where a person is now, but where they eventually end up! Similar to those mentioned above, and as always, you too fill everyone with the optimism that motivates such growth and thus contribute greatly!

Such growth and great contributions are often the case even for those with developmental disabilities; the growth and great contributions that are hidden within are of no less value than those that are overtly seen in others! Reply

Dear Chana Weisberg,
I watch and carefully listen to your words every week and I gain so much from your insight and knowledge of the Torah. Today your words were like balm to a troubled soul - yes, I can trust that there is not only room, but even need of a sinner like me.
Thank you for sharing this with me and everyone of us "out there". I realize that although I do not know you personnally, I have come to see you as a friend and a mentor on my way to Judaism - your words and your teaching are a blessing in my life! Reply
