Hello
I want to continue the examination of inheritance.
3 issues to examine -
1- The oldest son (the 1st of 3) dies in infancy, does his double portion die with him? or is it passed on to the 2nd born? It is interesting to note that if the 2nd born dies soon after, the 3rd inherits everything
2- If, as a Jew the Torah is my inheritance, who died to pass on the inheritance to me?
3- There were 2 neighboring farmers. One had a cow, the other a bull. Neither farmer could build good fences. One day the bull escaped and the cow becomes pregnant. Which farmer owns the calf?
4- On the death of the father, who reconciles his debts and where does the money come from for the reconciliation? Does the older son owe 2 portions toward debt reconciliation?

I thoroughly enjoyed the class
