The Brain and Heart

Dr. Barry S. Baumel, MD graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital. Along with Larry Eisner, MD, he founded the Baumel-Eisner Neuromedical Institute, which became a wholly owned subsidiary of AdvancePCS (Caremark) in 1999. He served on the on the Board of the American Headache Society and in 2010, he was named the chair of the American Migraine Foundation. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and a member of the board of trustees of the Mind Research Network.
