To be honest, I used to think why people do things and believe others. From this lesson, I found that law is not burden rather a means to communicate with the fellow human beings and also with the created beings or things of G-d. Reply

Rav Bitton rocks the house...believe it... It's been my experience that Rav "Bibi" Bitton is the perfect blend of erudite scholar and rock-and-roll chevraman...he knows how to blend the very best of our traditions -- both of the ancient and not-so-ancient eras -- into a mighty combination which sticks like Succos honey in the minds of his students *long* after you walk out of that Howe St. classroom. It's so pervasive...you've got it all over in one form or another, and you just can't get it off.

I was with Rav Bitton since the very beginning -- I saw his following grew from a small nugget, to a platoon, to a battalion, to a division-strength "fighting" force of Talmud-craving scholars who shows up for a bite of lunch and a legal chat on their breaks from the Vancouver Courts.

So delighted to see him playing here in the Chabad Big Leagues by having graduated from the YouTube hinterlands to the Jewish.tv prime time, which is chock full of rabbonim from different cities where I used to live...

Jewish.tv...the "un-television." Reply
