In learning Hebrew w/o a teacher, I got more grammatical explanations from you, Rabbi, than my textbook gives. Thank you so much for all your efforts. Reply

I wish there was a pdf for all the letters. I printed off the first few but then I didn’t see a “pdf” to be able to print from.
HaShem has taught me to read Hebrew. I dont know what most of the words mean that I’m reading but I can read them slowly and with the Nikkud.
I am finally taking a class to learn some grammar and help with some issues I was having with understanding the nikkud. Baruch HaShem!!!
I am 61, so this is a fulfillment of a lifelong desire of my heart. I want to thank you so much sincerely for sharing your knowledge and understanding. Surely Chabad is an extension of the hand of HaShem reaching down to pull “us” up out of the pit we and our fathers have dug ourselves into.
Also, do you have any suggestions to assist me in learning the meaning of words, how to use them, and remember them?
Thank you again and may HaShem bless you and your family. Reply

Connection of what's above to what's below Careful though not to give the impression that when one falls he has no connection to that which is above, as opposed to the understanding that G-D is in all things even when one conceals himself from. Reply

Question Dear Rabbi Raskin. I am an artist. I also have found throughout my life a strong emotional and spiritual connection to the hebrew alphabet.. In the past year I have been working on a series of paintings using the hebrew letters and their meanings as a starting point of exploration and expression. In addition to readings, I've greatly enjoyed your presentations on the letters. I am wondering, however, are there specific colors associated with the letters? Thank you for your work and your kind attention. Reply

6,13 Amazing, isn't it, that the vav's gematria is both 6 and also 13, when there are exactly 613 mitzvos in the Torah? No coincidence I am sure, as there are none in this world. Amazing that adding "aleph" thru "vav" brings us to 441, emes, the emes of the 613 ! new math: 441=613 :) Thank you for this lecture. Reply

Letters Of Light Having Thyroid problems it takes me a long time to absorb things but I shall write down each meaning in a notebook then go over ALL of this piece by piece then embed this on my blog to educate people as I did with your interview on your view of Heaven. So much we take for granted. This is amazing.. Thanks. Reply
