A Head that Wears Tefillin: The Unique Power of the "Frontlets Between Your Eyes"

The Talmud says that the verse (Deut. 28:10) "All the peoples of the earth will see that the name of the Lord is called upon you" refers to wearing the head tefillin. How does the head tefillin cause G-d's name to be "called upon" the one who wears them?

Judaism Dear Annonymous,

Yes you are correct. Every good deed and every prayer surely opens new gateways and channels to receive G-d's blessings and success. For G-d is truly the source and creator of our universe and it is the nature of the One that is good, to do good.

As a suggestion one should add charity to their daily prayers and this no doubt will amplify one's blessings. Reply

Judaism Something strange is happening to me. I am not Jewish however since last year I've been reading and watching Jewish history and events. Again last week there was another turn in my life, I started to pray and recite The Shema and I am already reciting the first line in Hebrew. I really feel a protection I never felt before. Has anyone experienced this? Reply

A Head that wears Teffillin A wonderful, inspiring teaching. Just a few days ago, I was asking G-d, why do the Jewish men wear Tefillin. And He led me to your teaching. Isn't He wonderful.

I love the way you teach. With such clarity, and information so clearly spoken.

You are a great teacher. HaShems blessings are upon you in wisdom. Reply
