Are we born as a giver, ‘maybe, maybe not.’ Can we be taught to give with love and kindness, ‘yes, most certainly.’ Do we want to be taught to give, ‘maybe, maybe not.’ Will we feel much more loving in our hearts when we give, ‘yes, we definitely will.’ Will this giving enrich our lives, ‘yes, it will.’ But will this giving of ourselves and other attributes pave a secure path to a better place when we leave this world, ‘it may or may not.’ However, giving today, tomorrow or only during the season of Passover will at least follow us as a shadow for the remainder of our days on this earth and if we try it out, at least it’s a start.
