What is My Freedom? My freedom is being the kind of Jew a person should be: Kind, caring, and loving! Reply
the most frequently used phrase in Hebrew is: B'seder It means OK, and now that we're celebrating, or about to, it's hard not to notice, the word SEDER in the word. It would seem to be, the "order" of the day. Celebrate mightily, a festibval about Freedom. Freedom curves into the word surf, and we both surf and serf the waves that come upon us, as life is deeply about both, freedom and the necessity of escaping into freedom by doing good deeds. It's not a stretch to see and hear the linguistic connects between mitva and matza. Reply
what is freedom The ability to eminate from our internal divine soul, instead of being a slave to the temporary thoughts, opinions, and desires of the Phaeroh (or Amalakite) dwelling within us. Jerusalem is a divine state of mind. Thus, may the next moment find each of us living in Jerusalem. The chametz that we search our house for externally, reflects the seeking and cleansing of our inner house from all that which keeps us from the Divine. Freedom I believe society does not allow freedom in many respects, even for those who are ethical, loyal, pure in intentions and righteous. This year I will make my introspective prayers, and pray for G´d´s blessigns to all of Children of Israel and for our dear ones, who are supporting us.May G´d illumine our path for life and safety.Chag Pessach Sameach. The Freedom Question Thank you so much for this very thought provoking video. I remember when cell phones were becoming more ubiquitous back in the early years of the last decade, and my phone seemed to ring constantly and I became aware that a device designed to 'free me up', suddenly meant I was chained; available, contactable and answerable 24 hours per day and wherever I was. Of course, now I have a Blackberry which flashes red at me whenever an email comes. This Pesach, I will look forward to the freedom from electronic communication and constant demands from anywhere and revel in the freedom to speak face to face with friends and family. Reply
Thought-provoking! Lovely work Ezra!Best wishes to you and your family, especially your Mom, for a Healthy and Joyous Pesach Reply
