As I listen and watch the Rabbi teach about the 13 Principles of Torah Elucidation, I imagine my Father, Charles G. King Mallendavitch, olav hasholom, face over the Rabbi's face and him delivering this Lesson and I must tell the truth my Heart and Jewish Soul is breaking because he wasn't able to live as an observant Jew and bring up his daughters as observant. Nothing was passed onto to us and I wandered in a wilderness until now. I don't know where or if Chabad will lead me back to my Roots. My family was mentally weak and childish and self-centered choosing to assimilate into the Hollywood abyss, the Max Factor family. Reply

discomfort flag.... We are discussing the 13 Rules of Torah Elucidation. One resolution required us to utilize sefer Shmuel and also Divrei Hayamim, records outside of Torah itself. This troubles me. While these portions of Tanakh do indeed support the elucidation, surely there is a citing within Torah itself that resolves the seeming contradiction of the topic of the site of the Holy Temple.
