Rabbi Israel Meir Lau served as the Chief Rabbi of Israel from 1993-2003, and today is the Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv and the Chairman of Yad Vashem, The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority.
