Yaakov read psalms????? About the 30:00 mark you mention Yaakov read the 15 tehillim that begin with שִׁיר, הַמַּעֲלוֹת
How was this possible when tehillim weren't written yet! Reply

Here's your answer.(on Chabad.org) Who Wrote the Book of Psalms?
By Levi Greenberg
(The) Talmud enumerates ten authors other than King David. “David composed the Book of Psalms through ten elders: Adam, Melchizedek, Abraham, Moses, Heiman, Yedutun, Asaph, and the three sons of Korach.”

Adam, Melchizedek, Abraham had already wrote their Tehillim, lived and passed on well before, Yaakov even went to Lavan's house. It was in a different format than King David put it in later and Yaakov said those Tehillim. Reply

Incomplete Thank you for the wonderful classes. I have tried several times to do Chumash with Rashi every day and these classes are the only way that works for me. I have been listening for almost a year now. Reply

Question about the First Fruits prayer At 10:30 into your teaching, you speak of a famous prayer when we bring the first fruits. That prayer says that Laban killed Ya'akov. Where can I find that prayer?

Toda.

missing parsha potion The missing classes are being filled in as they come about. As California is 3 hours behind NY time, it takes time for the new classes to get posted as they are made.
Please keep checking the archives. Thank you for participating daily. Reply
