What not 'Shir Hamaalos Esoh Ainay El Hehorim' ? I have known this song since 1944, and sung to the 'Shir Hama'alos' as stated in the title. I have a feeling that this tune as well as one sung to the first of the 'Lecho Dodi' verses up to 'Lo Saivoshi', and other songs such as 'Mikolos Mayim Rabim' and 'Atoh Echad'-(this latter from Shabbat Minchah ) were all composed by the same person as they have a similar style, although of course they are completely different tunes.
