Coby, your translation with rhyme is excellent. Because I am also a singer and songwriter,
I came up with this rhyming one based on my friend who translated for me.

This is super helpful! Is this the proper literal translation? It's much better than the one I found on another website. Thank yoU! If you wish to sing it in English, Id recommend switching night and dark to "dark and night" so it rhymes! fantastic job! What do you think of the translation I did above? Im American so I dont speak much hebrew but I went off of what a hebrew speaking friend briefly told me. Which parts of mine are accurate?

If i had to guess, just as Hashem SPOKE light and creation into exitance, since we are created in His image, we too can speak to the darkness and command it to be gone. His Ruach within us is the light in us and it is greater than darkness. Reply
