My Grandfather Charles Tobias wrote :"The old lamplighter" he wrote it in 1940. His Wife's Father was a Chabad Rabbi born in 1861 to 1966,who I saw at 105 in a Hospital at 12.His Song has Everything to do With this,. And the Rebbe's Article on Lamplighters I Posted on FB..
