I hope this does not offend, but I am using these chants as a very effective means of improving my ability to read Hebrew. Would translations be available? That way, I'd feel less guilty about using them as a reading aid. Very, very pleasant renditions. Thank you. Reply

Thank you; I arranged the Online Siddur on my computer monitor alongside the Ashrei song above. Admittedly, I can't concentrate on reading and understanding at the same time, but it is more meaningful this way for me, particularly if I go over it twice. Perhaps you can consider organizing a weekday daily prayer service for those who never learned what they should be doing in what order? Thanks again. Reply

Slow versions of prayers Thank gou for these sing alongs with text. Do these exist in much slower versions? My grandfather was a chazan who sang slow and with all of his soul. He taught me what holy was just through is prayers/ singing. I would love to follow his footsteps as a chazanit as I have slowly been feeling this come through since his passing. Until I find find his recordings, can sonsone offer insight as to where to find slow versions of these prayers? Thank you. ♡ Reply

It is so wonderful to listen and follow along. Something was different about the prayers this morning. It seems like some of the word I could not find as I usually could. Some of the prayers did not have the word below the player. I was grateful to listen to the prayers on the player. Thank you for making this available -today there was something different . Reply

I like this Ashrei davening style rather than the original style. My Rabbi davens like this but a little faster. Reply

Ezra Hoerster Midland, TX November 2, 2015

Really helpful These davening tracks are very useful in learning how to sing some of the Shacharis service. By listening to this I've already learned how to sing Ashrei! Reply

Ashrei I am trying to learn this prayer, my Hebrew is not very good and I find it to fast to follow-I wish there was a way to slow it down- Thanks Chana Reply

I don't know if it was possible in 2014 when this was asked but there's now speed control on all the audio files. Tap the 1x and you can select other speeds. Reply

Anonymous Ny March 11, 2014

Tune of Ashrei The tune actually comes from the Litvish tune for Anim Zemiros. This prayer only appears in Nusach Ashkenaz, while chabad uses Nusach HoAri, a version of Nusach Sefard. Reply

Michael Paz Guatemala May 20, 2013

simply excellent!!! by singing this prayers along with the track, I learned already how to pray Shacharis alone from my Sidur... B"H Reply

Ashrei Love this melody! Is this a traditional or an original melody? If it is traditional, where does it come from? Thanks! Reply
