RE: MItzvahs of the day The video is correct. A person must give two portions of food to one person to fulfill his/her base obligation. While it is customary and proper to give to a few people, it is not necessary. And there is no obligation whatsoever that the portions of food be of different blessings (you can read more about that here). Reply

MItzvahs of the day We learned that you need to send a michloach manot with 2 DIFFERENT items of food that have DIFFERENT blessings, and to 2 different friends - why does it say here only one food and one friend? Reply
