Chaim I. Waxman is professor emeritus of Sociology and Jewish Studies at Rutgers University. He is the author of many important books and articles and is a Senior Fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute as well as a Research Fellow at the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace, Hebrew University. During January-March 2013 he was a Dorset Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies.
