I listened to this twice. It's great. Reply
In Listening to the Mechanics of Redemption- I found that I am getting a better understanding of Mitzvot. The fact that when we do a Mitvah we are interacting with that part of the world and influencing for positive. IT gives me a much deeper understanding of the importance of all my interactions with people and my environment
Thank you for the class

my 2 cents worth Being charged with mitzvah IS the reward- except you get the reward before carrying it out. Reply
thx this lecture is amazing - bringing so many chassidic thoughts down to a real-life way of thinking. Reply
I See Thank you Rabbi, and Chabad.org. It seems like the gist of what you are saying is that G-d wants us to serve Him b/c we recognize our own interests, for us to recognize the profound nature of existence. To realize that for G-d to tell us anything is a great blessing. Whether it is to do or not do, because G-d brought Himself down where he wants to be just by telling us, then all we have to do is do as instructed. That way we don't have to deal with confusion the same. Certainly, this seems like a long way away, but you say it is not. Reply
